The Weather Cooperated! 48th Annual Five Mile Road Race Sharon MA

Well, the weather cooperated yesterday for the 48th Annual Sharon Five Mile Road Race. This race kicks off the Sharon Fourth of July festivities. This year, the weather cooperated. The rain held off and it wasn't quite so muggy as to be uncomfortable. There was a comfortable breeze at Lake Massapoag, the starting point for the five mile road race.

Runners started arriving by 8 a.m. to register, stretch and warm up. There were 107 registered runners. Just slightly more than half were from Sharon MA. The others were from towns around Massachusetts and a handful of runners from Rhode Island.

Nina, this is a great promotional post for local events in Sharon - and I am sure everyone in Sharon knows Nina is the best listing agent in and around this town.

Thank you so much, Praful!

Hi, Debbie...I do like the shirt! I'm sponsoring more and more local events. This year, I sponsored the Sharon High School Sailing team, and the Sharon Youth Baseball and Softball Association. Aside from working to the best Realtor in Sharon MA, I can think of no other way to show that I absolutely love this community and support it! (I did grow up here and my kids are growing up here). Go Eagles!

Thank you, Carol Ann. It was a great morning. A bit hard to get going at 7 a.m. but a small sacrifice! lol
