Nina -- this looks like a lot of fun. I wish I was a bit closer.  I love maple syrup.

Hi, Joan...if you ever get down this way, please email and let me know you're coming. Christine Smith is right next door in Canton and I think I can speak for her, too, when I say we love to meet Rainers in person! Any Maple Sugar Festivals up your way?

Nina I am not much of an outdoorsy type, but I have a grandson who would just love it if I took him on a tour like this.

Nina:  Maple syrup time for your area and mine.  No other syrup makes waffles and pancakes taste so good.

Charita, come on up and bring your grandson!! We're getting more snow today and tomorrow so pack the boots and gloves!

Valerie, I usually buy the reduced sugar maple syrup which my kids really don't like. Good maple syrup is expensive and the way my son makes puddles on his plate...it goes pretty quickly. We actually bought him his own bottle of genuine grade A syrup as a present one time! His eyes lit up! He was thrilled! But you're right...nothing tastes as good. I also like peanut butter on my waffles and then maple syrup. A little tip my son shared with me! lol

Nina...thanks for the re-blog!  The nice thing is that the one in Sharon is also the weekend after the one in the Blue Hills so if local folks can't make it to Canton this weekend, maybe they can make it to Sharon the following weekend.  OR, if they really love maple sugaring....they can go to both!
