ActiveRain Community Guidelines Create Standards for Excellence

ActiveRain Community Guidelines Create Standards for Excellence

Activerain Community Guides are a Standard for ExcellenceActiveRain has given almost 250,000 people in the real estate industry a voice! We can achieve amazing things with this voice; collectively and individually.

One aspect that I appreciate the most is the opportunity to share and develop Standards of Excellence in my work as a Realtor. The first paragraph of the ActiveRain Community Guidelines is called "Respect the Real Estate Industry". To me, this represents the powerful opportunity to overcome the negative stereotypes about real estate agents. I gain so many terrific ideas from other people's posts about ways to continually elevate the service I provide to my clients and the ways in which I can better organize and manage my business for myself.

I always admired Sy Syms' slogan for his chain of Syms clothing stores. He said, "An educated consumer is our best customer." This is the second factor of the ActiveRain Community Guidelines that I value. In every public post that I ActiveRain Community Guidelines Create Standards for Excellencewrite, I try to share information about with consumers.

Sellers and buyers want to understand the impact of their local real estate market on property values; the process of a real estate transaction and the many details involved in every aspect of buying, selling and maintaining a home. With the information and guidance that I provide, my clients can be more effective in making good decisions about what is, for many, the biggest investment of their lives.

At the same time, my clients and future clients can "get to know me" by reading my blog. They can get a sense of what I stand for, what's important to me and how we can work together to achieve their real estate goals.  As stated in the ActiveRain Community Guidelines, "this level of transparency and openness" helps to create a standard for excellence and professionalism.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy, satisfying and successful 2015! Happy New Year!
